By accessing or using FilmFX, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

The service

FilmFX provides a free, static, browser-based photo-filter studio and photography articles. You can open compatible images, preview film-inspired processing, import local .cube LUTs, and export JPG, PNG, or WebP files without creating an account.

Features may be improved, limited, suspended, or discontinued. Browser, device, and image-format differences can affect performance and output.

Your photos and output

You retain ownership of photos you open and images you export. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required to use the source material. Because processing occurs locally, FilmFX does not receive or store those source photos.

You are responsible for reviewing an export before publishing, printing, or using it professionally. Color appearance can vary across screens, browsers, printers, and color profiles.

Acceptable use

You may not use FilmFX to violate law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, harm another person, attack or interfere with the website, bypass security controls, distribute malware, or falsely imply that FilmFX or another party endorses your work.

Names and trademarks

FilmFX is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Fujifilm, Kodak, or another film or camera manufacturer. Third-party names may be used descriptively to help users understand film-inspired looks. All third-party marks belong to their respective owners.

Intellectual property

FilmFX's software, interface, written content, branding, and original filter recipes are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant permission to copy, resell, or misrepresent the website itself.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

FilmFX is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, no guarantee is made that the website will be uninterrupted or that every image will produce a desired result. The site operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of FilmFX where such limitations are legally permitted.
